Features

Hull structures scantlings calc
applying ISO 12215-5

SCT MC can calculate scantlings for sailing and power boat, monohulls and multihulls for a specific design category: A ocean, B offshore, C inshore, D sheltered waters.
SCT analyse plates and stiffeners for each structure area such as Bottom, side, deck, superstructure, bulwark, watertight bulkheads, tank bulkheads, swash bulkheads, collision bulkheads, Non watertight bulkheads and pillars.

mechanical properties calc
applying ISO 12215-5

SCT MC analyse Composite materials (Glass, Carbon, Aramid fibers), Metallics (steel, aluminum), Woods and Filling Cores.
With SCT you can also create your own materials.

Structural arrangements and details
applying ISO 12215-6

SCT MC analyse Protective Keel, Protective Bow, Protective Knucles, Engine supports and can evaluate Longitudinal Strength Analysis as Main Section and Decks.

rudder calc
applying ISO 12215-8

SCT MC Rudder calculator section can analyse custom geometries of rudders. Rudder types I, II, III, IV, V. Rudder blade materials, Rudder stocks, bearings and horns according to ISO 12215-8.

Sailing Craft Appendages
applying ISO 12215-9

SCT MC defines loads and specifies the scantlings of sailing craft appendages on monohull sailing craft with a length of hull of up to 24 m according to ISO 12215-9.

Rig & Riggings calculator

The Rig Section analyse normal rigs or free-standing masts, rigging, boom and spreaders.

Wet Deck and Global Loads
for catamarans and Trimarans

SCT MC analyse Global Loads calculations for catamarans and Trimarans and and Wet-Deck analysis: direct calculation of Cross Beams connecting Hulls in a catamaran wet deck.

Beams calculator

Beam Calculator can evaluate standard and custom bars with different type of loads.
